• Tabarka — North Africa's only coral coast, Mediterranean pines, 16th-century Genoese fort.
• Ain Draham — on the Algerian border at 1000 m altitude. Cork-oak forests, morning fog, nights cooling to 16–20 °C even in July.

The Sahara — November to March

Summer in the south tops 40 °C, but from November to March the climate is ideal — mild days, cool nights under the stars:
